As People magazine reports, Police officers in the State of Nevada discovered hundreds of marijuana plants on the former Hollywood Madam Heidi Fleiss’ property in Pahrump/Nevada.
According to the Nye County Sheriff‘s Department, officers found 158 cannabis plants in the garden, and 234 more in the house of the former prostitution-ring manager. Fleiss admitted that she had grown marijuana without a license with the aim of selling it to a Las Vegas cooperative.
The 47-year-old was not initially arrested because she cooperated with the investigators. The plants were seized as evidence. In 199,5 Nick Broomfield made a documentary movie about Fleiss’ call-girl ring. He was the first to name her Hollywood Madam.
In 2004, Fleiss sold the rights to her story to the Paramount studios. The movie about Heidi Fleiss’ life was titled The Rise and Fall of Heidi Fleiss.
Fleiss’ ring reportedly had many popular customers. ‘Two and a half Men’ star Charlie Sheen is said to have paid thousands of dollars for Fleiss’ services. Heidi Fleiss never revealed the names of her customers. When asked in interviews to reveal the names of her famous clients, she used to reply, ‘It’s not my style’.
In 2009, Heidi Fleiss’ treatment for substance abuse was filmed for the third season of the MTV series ‘Celebrity Rehab With Dr. Drew’.
