Boston Legal star James Spader will play the villain ‘Ultron’ in the sequel of ‘Marvel’s: The Avengers‘.
‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ will hit the screen on May 1, 2015. The sequel of The Avengers brings Marvel’s heroes Iron Man (Robert Downey Jr.), Captain America (Chris Evans), Mark Hulk (Mark Ruffalo) and Thor (Chris Hemsworth) back together. Director Joss Whedon returns to write and direct the movie.
The Avengers, which was released in 2012, grossed $ 1.5 billion worldwide.
James Spader was awarded three Emmys for his role of Alan Shore in the ABC-series ‘Boston Legal’ and ‘The Practice’.
Spader’s first important film role was in the 1981 movie Endless Love alongside Brooke Shield’s. In ‘Tuff Turf’, Spader appeared next to his friend, actor Robert Downey Jr. However, he made the breakthrough as an actor in the 1986 movie ‘Pretty in Pink’. Most recently, the actor starred in Steven Spielberg’s ‘Lincoln’.
James Spader will return to television in the series ‘The Blacklist’, which airs on NBC this fall.
