Paris Jackson is on the way to recovery. According to her grandmother Katherine Jackson, Paris’ treatment is going good and she is doing much better.
15-year-old Paris, daughter of the late Michael Jackson, was hospitalized in June after a suicide attempt. The girl had cut her wrist with a kitchen knife.
In an interview with Hello! magazine U.K., Katherine Jackson said, ‘Paris is in a good place, where she gets the treatment she needs’.
Jackson, who shares legal guardianship of Michael Jackson’s three children with her grandson TJ Jackson, told the magazine that Paris is still not over her father’s demise.
“All I wanted these kids to be is happy. The night Michael died Paris was crying and said, ‘I want to go and see daddy; I don’t want to be without him.’ “
About her son Michael, Katherine said ‘There’s not a day goes by that I don’t think about him; when I don’t shed a tear’.
Michael Jackson would have turned 55 this Thursday, August 29. The singer died on June 25, 2009 at his mansion in the Holmby Hills, Los Angeles. Michael Jackson died in his bed of acute propofol intoxication after suffering a cardiac arrest. His personal physician Dr. Conrad Murray’s attempts at rescuing him were unsuccessful.
