The reasons for actor Paul Walker’s crash may be hiding inside the black boxes of his Porsche.
Investigators have recovered three black boxes from the car, and will meet with Porsche engineers in the beginning of next year to analyze the data retrieval system.
The data on the black boxes could help finding new information such as the car’s speed, air bag deployment and more.
Paul Walker and his friend, Roger Rodas, died on November 30. Walker’s Porsche Carrera GT first slammed into a light pole, then into a tree and burst into flames.
Roger Rodas was driving the car. A toxicological report, which will show if alcohol or drugs played a role in the crash, will be available after some weeks.
In the meantime, Paul Walker’s and Rodas’ car shop will close for good. According to a new report by TMZ, the shop in California will close for business within the next few weeks.
The shop will be cleaned out and the cars will reportedly be auctioned off.
